Lady J's Mobile DJ Entertainment has been North Carolina and Virginia's leader in quality wedding and party entertainment since 2001. Our success has not come by accident. We are professionals who take your special day or event very seriously. Below you’ll find a list of questions frequently asked by our prospective clients. We feel that these questions are important tools to use when searching for the very best entertainment for your wedding reception or event. We hope that you will find them useful.

Q: What if we want a song that you don't have?
A: Our music collection spans thousands of songs from several decades. Often a client will want a song that is somewhat obscure and we may not have it. If you have a music on CD or a flash drive or iPod, we will play it. We will be glad to play anything you wish....as long as it's appropriate.
A: Absolutely!! Our contract is straightforward and written in plain english so that you can understand the terms before signing.
It is signed by both parties and offers you a high level of protection and dependability. With the contract you can be assure that there will be no hidden extra charges or suprised at your event.
A: The sooner the better. Some of the popular dates can and do book as far as a year or more in advance.
We recommend that you are prepared to sign a contract as early as 3-6 months before. However, depending on availability, some dates may be available up to a month before.
A: Yes! Both current and potential clients are encouraged to meet with me. I generally meet with you at your residence or at a location that is convenient for you.
A: Unfortunately no. We do not feel it is appropriate to invite potential clients to our current client events. When we are at a wedding, we focus completely on the task at hand, and do not want to be sidetracked trying to "impress" potential clients. Also, since every client's tastes are different, you may view an event and think, "this DJ is not my style", when in reality, we may simply be complying with the wishes of that particular client
A: We Typically arrive at least one hour before your event
Q: Do you attend the rehearsal?
A: Absolutely! And the benefits are huge, including help with timing, logistics, and relieving stress for you, your friends, your family , your officiant...everyone involved in the wedding. Here are two specific examples that show these benefits. You only have one shot at getting it right. There are no redo's.
A: No! our company policy is: No consumption of alcohol before or during any event! You will notice the advantages of having a sober DJ.
A: It is NOT necessary to feed the DJ, although it is appreciated, especially at events that run 5 hours or longer.
Q: What are your prices? A: If you notice on my website that I don't have prices. Why? Because I don't want a price to become what turns you away, what makes you not fully realize what all I can offer you. I offer several different packages that can fit EVERY budget. All you have to do is ASK :0)
A: Yes! we charge $1.00 a mile over 50 miles
A: A professional DJ is aware that they can't possibly know every aspect of music and entertainment. Your input and suggestions should be welcome! Lady J's Mobile DJ Entertainment only listens to you, we will give guidance and recommendations, if needed to help you plan a successful event.
